GARTHDEE COMMUNITY COUNCIL
Garthdee Community Council is a voluntary organisation set up by statute by the Aberdeen City Council and is run by local residents to act on behalf of its area. The Community Council exists to represent the community and the people of Garthdee where 12 local residents volunteer their time to ensure our community is a safer, stronger, smarter place to live, work and socialise for all. The community council very much exists to represent the people of Garthdee and in particular on issues that impacts the wider community.
As a statutory consultative body, the community council has made a significant difference in the past and present and we warmly welcome you to join us for our monthly meetings which take place at Inchgarth community centre at 7pm on the second Tuesday of every month. We would love to hear from you and would very much welcome you along to any of our meetings.
As well as representing the community to Aberdeen City Council, the Community Council facilitates a wide range of activities which promote the well-being of our community. We strive to bring local people together to help make things happen, and to protect and promote the identity of our community.
